  • My ex has full custody of our children with out my consent
  • I had my bank account garnished.I went to court and the garnishment was released. I'm self employed but I do get paid by a goverment agency. Can my wages be garnished? Does the collector have to go back to court to get another order?
  • If someone is on an Interstate Compact from Oregon to AZ and on parole, and they get put in jail; don't they still have the right to know why they've been put in jail? Especially after 3 weeks, with no appearance before a judge given, and Oregon says they still haven’t heard anything from Arizona and they usually don’t on these minor violations. I was told by a PO that my Son was being locked up for a parole violation of two diluted UA’s in a row. My son had to hear from me why he was locked up. They never told him his UA’s were coming out diluted or why he was being locked up.
  • The landlord shut off our water at 3 in the afternoon and said it was only for a half hour to fix a small leak. It is now 8 am the following day and our water is still off with no word from our landlord. What can I do or call to get this issue remedied
  • My ex husband notified me on Monday that he is planning to move to Irvine CA at the end of May. I cannot afford to hire a lawyer because I'm still paying for my most recent legal fees regarding visitation... I desperately need help because I only have 60 days. Of course, I do not want my son to move with his dad and stepmom. She is abusive (mean), and he would spend all of his time with her because his dad is rarely home.
  • I presently residing in a over 55 complex for the past three yrs. Never had to pay for rental insurance. Now, with the new lease coming, they are asking for payment on an insurance. My question is: Is this insurance a LAW? Do I have to pay a yearly insurance or montly? If there is no law, I do not/cannot afford to pay. As well as other seniors in the complex. We only live on a SS checks. Many do not have enough to their personal needs. I cannot pay for a lawyer either. I just need to know the LAW on the subject so that I know what to do.   • My neighbors water heater recently needed to be replaced. The property manager was notified but the building maintenance man was out sick. It took over a week to replace the unit and complete repairs. During the time of the unit being damaged, and up to it's replacement, the cost of electricity used to power it went through the roof. Mt neighbor's electric bill overages during the two month period of the unit failing to work properly and then breaking down beyond repair, totalled $415.66. Is it the landlord's responsibility to reimburse the tenant for the cost of the electrical overages?
  • I live in a mobile home park with 90 spaces. We own our homes, but pay rent for the lot. The park sold recently to a property management person who lives and works in the L.A. California area. She has not hired a manager to be on the premises.If we have any problems we need to call her telephone number in California. She has a couple who live in the park that she refers maintenance problems to. They have no authority to answer any questions about anything. We have been given a list of rules and regulations, but no one is here to see that they are adhered to. Is a manager required?
  • I leased a townhome from a private individual and he uses a realtor to complete his tranacetions for him. I vacated the premises on 6/22. The lease terminated 6/30. His representative told me I would have my security deposit back within 14 days of turning the keys over. I still don't have my security deposit back. The landlord has told me the 14 days started on June 30. I'm getting conflicting information from him and his realtor. Which one is correct?
  • I'm pregnant and don't wish to keep the baby. I'm back in school trying to get my life on track for my son who I already am raising. Abortion is not an option. My question is 2 parts: 1). Is it possible to relinquish my parental rights to the father (who is older and stable) once the baby is born if all parties are in agreement? 2). If a close family friend and her husband want to adopt the baby, can I and the father relinquish rights to them if we all are in agreement? We all want the outcome to be the best for the baby and parent(s) to ensure healthy attachment at birth. Thank you
