QUESTIONS

  • Have two homes, Glendale & Surprise, was living in the Glendale home until wife passed away, on 10/2006, moved to other home in Surprise right after death of Wife. Moved out of home in Glendale due to the pain so I moved to our other home in Surprise leaving my son to live in the Glendale home. During the healing time, my real estate income went so low that I lost the home to foreclosure in May of 2008, which I accepted keys for cash from Ocwen, and moved back to Glendale home. Does the home in Surprise qualify for Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief, since I was living there for 1 1/2 years.
  • If I am trying to return to work from maternity leave and supervision is refusing to give me back my normal hours, do i file a complaint with my HR or the state? My supervisior is not allowing me to return within the 12 week time frame even though Iasked to return then.
  • I moved out of an apt without having a walk through but I took several pictures. Two weeks later I received a letter stating they were keeping my pet deposit and that I owed them an additional amount of money. I disagree with some of the charges they have. How can I dispute this and what is my time limit? They have given me 30 days to pay before sending to collections. Also, can the landlord charge for painting the interior? I even filled in any holes made from hanging pictures. Don't they have to paint anyway?
  • I am renting a apartment that was once a motel room. From a realtor who im assuming is the landlord. For $450 a month. My question is can she evict me for things that WERE NOT mentioned to me or given to me in a form of a "lease or rental agreement". She is trying to evict me for trash that i supposedly had outside my unit. When in fact the day i moved in there was a huge pile of trash bags next to my unit there was no dumpster provided and no mail box even till this day. The 25 of November 2018. Other tenets have there electricity through her i dont and have no power what can i do.
  • I just received a summons from my spouse for a court date for divorce but I have already filled and received a court date prior to that. Is this possible?
  • I have a default divorce and my ex-wife will not give me a copy of the court papers and I do not know where to find them. She moved out of state with my daughter and I have no idea what the custody is or anything about the divorce and she will not let me see my daughter. Is there anything I can do about this?
  • I moved out of a rental home on 10/16/15 but was made to pay for the entire month of October. Did the 14 days for returning my deposit start on 10/16 or 10/31? Also, 14 days since both days has passed and I'd like to file a claim in Small Claims Court but I moved out of state. Are there options for out of state former tenants or must I travel back to Arizona? Thank you.
  • I hired a moving company to move my stuff from WI to AZ (company is based in IL.) Upon reviewing the contract I discovered bad math, but I had already signed. When my stuff got here, I had to pay the remaining $650 in cash to the driver or he would return my items to IL and be charge for them holding my items. I was then pressured to place a $0 in the what is due. However, my issue is that they had overcharged me. The driver would not deal with any of those issues and I had to pay him. If I file a claim do I have a chance to be granted my overpayment, or am I SOL due to the $0 on balance due.
  • i am 17 years and 2 months. Can I choose to live with my brother instead my mother
  • What is the law in Arizona regarding revocation of driver's license because of age, health, or mental condition for elderly persons?
