  • Can I finance a car if I am currently in the middle of a chapter 7 or chapter 13 bankruptcy?
  • My boyfriend and I are both on an apartment lease agreement. I went out of town to visit my sister for summer. When I was ready to come back home I was told boyfriend moved out of apartment and he let 3 of his friends move in and A dog. Can I just call police and have them removed
  • I want a divorce, husband doesn't. He is the cause of the divorce. When I talk about it he gets mad, makes accusations and threats. He does not get physically violent, but he has told me things like I cannot leave (or takes my keys or phone so I can't), or I cannot take the kids from the house, or says he will take the kids. He is very possessive and becomes a bully when divorce is brought up. On multiple occasions he has driven off aggressively saying his life is over without me and the kids. I feel like the kids and I need somewhere else to stay while I file to avoid more detriment. Can I?

This has drastically decreased the hours I can work and my income. He is telling me that legally he will only have to pay me child support from one of his jobs only and not all of them. Is this true?

  • Our heater works but does not provide airflow to the bottom story of our apartment.Twice, we asked the apartment manager directly to make repairs but repairs were never made. On Monday, we sent written notice of intent to terminate lease per ARS 33-1361(A). The apartment manager told me on Monday that someone would be over Tuesday to take a look at our unit but, again, they never showed up. Do I have grounds to terminate on Saturday if nothing is done? The term "reasonable heat" seems arbitrary and I want to make sure I have legitimate grounds for terminating my lease.
  • Currently paying a ridiculous amount of rent (~$1500 after utilities) for a an apartment home whose complex offers a community Pool as one of the amenities in the Lease. Recently, the Corporate office locked down all amenities completely despite the upcoming heat of the summer. It’s been 95+ degrees outside, and they refuse to open the pool even for a LIMITED pool hour for kids and seniors— is this legal? Does it break the lease? Can I withhold about $200 in rent since all amenities have been locked? Thanks in advance -concerned mama
  • I don't know how to classify my question, by is very important and I need a lawyer help or advice. I'm starting a non-profit organization and I need help with the steps to follow. Do you or do you know someone that can help me and that don't charge me an arm and a leg for the help? I've been calling several places and they wouldn't be able to do that because they are not doing the service free or their charge are too much. Please let me know where I can go or to who I can call to get the help.
