  • We rented a home 2 years ago with a 1 year lease. The landlord has not had us sign a new lease. The old lease specifically states that the agreement begins on 8/5/10 and ends 7/31/11. What rights and responsibilities do I have?

  • I was in the hospital and didn't have my insurance information. I called the number given to me by the hospital when I was discharged. The hospital billed my insurance but didn't pass on my insurance to their physicians that saw me or x ray dept. I didn't know this until I was sent to collections over a year later. The insurance denied it due to timely filing laws. Can someone help me to settle/negotiate this debt? The collection agency is not working with me.

  • I gave my roommate his written thirty day notice on July 1st. He barely has packed anything and I have a feeling he isn't going to be gone by the 31st. If he has not left the premises by the 31st legally what can I do? My husband and I own the house and he was living with us, just to give you some background.   • I share joint custody and my sons father drops him off at his siblings home and my son stays there most days when he is not under my care. He sleeps on their couch at night.
