  • I am on section 8, I rent from a real estate agency. I am being evicted for not paying my water bill. The realtor makes me share the water bill with my neighbor, and divides it in half for us to pay. I have not been able to pay for it, I have two daughters and we struggle to pay the electric and other expenses. In the past he has allowed me to get caught up when i file for taxes. I pay it out of the earned income credit refund, this year he is not allowing me to do so. They are evicting me, I asked if i could pay it when i get my tax refund, he said no. Is it legal to charge me half of H2o?

My question is from what date do I begin counting the 14 days for my security deposit to be returned?

  • I had a brief relationship with my neighbors son, beginning May 2016-June 2016, and I let him remain in my apartment until recent. We had a verbal agreement that we would split the 3 main bills, rent, electric and cable/internet, fifty fifty. I gave him a receipt for the months of June 2016-January 2017, he got the original and I have the carbon copy in an actual receipt book. I told my ex that he has until the end of February to find another place to live because he is no longer able to pay his share of the bills because they cut his SSI. Can I kick him out without going to court?
  • I had an unwritten deal with someone and he basically conned me out of $800. I sued him in Pima County small claims court. The court required that i name his spouse as a defendant as well. When the court date came, he had fled town and left his wife to deny everything in court for him. It turns out though he is not legally married to this woman, and that was made clear to the judge. Still, the judge dismissed my case with prejudice even though she was not his legal spouse and now i am out $800+. I even had a witness but he was late so unfortunately didn't get sworn in. What recourse do i have?

I put the key in and manually opened the door to find some else's car in my garage. When I reported it to HOA they told me a mistake was made and the person whose car was in my garage was in Ohio and would return Nov1 2015. My personal items that were left in the garage were gone. What are my legal rights to reclaim what was legally mine and also how do I remove his car from my garage
