  • My apartment community has changed ownership several times since I moved in 4 years ago. I discovered that my unit was wired to provide electricity for one of the apartment amenities that was outside of my unit. The management has fixed the problem but they are only offering to reimburse me for the time that they owned the property, about 13 months and told me that I would have to track down the previous owners for the rest of the money. Should they be obligated to pay a rebate for the 3 years that I was paying for their electricity or do I indeed need to take it up with the previous owners

  • How gain custody of my child when I don't exist in his life by any documentation? I am his biological father,and currently his sole provider (for the past 6 months). His mother, my ex girlfriend, decided that being a mother isn't suit for her, and has told me that I can have all legal rights. However, I don't know how to begin this process of gaining custody. How do I begin? Who do I talk to? And what would be the easiest way of doing this if she's willing to give up all rights to our child?

  • I was evicted for nonpayment of rent March 31. April 2, I notified landlord with letter stating demand for whereabouts and costs for moving and storage of my property. Landlord replied with "when you pay me what you owe, plus moving and storage expenses, then we will talk." Landlord then gave me a $4500 moving and storage bill (her handwriting) in which same moving company quoted me no more than $1800. On the 20th day we contacted landlord where she said it is considered abandoned and that if we contacted her anymore she would file harassment charges on us. What do we do?
  • I purchased a farm using two different private loans(no banks). One loan was on a promissory note. Animals were used as the collateral on the note. Having defaulted on the note, I have turned over all the animals to the party owed. Is there an Arizona law or case that establishes the turnover of collateral as discharge of the note?   • Is there a law or work on a law regarding couples involved in domestic violence requiring them to seek counseling separately. Or, more specifically, if doing counseling with a couple when domestic violence is apparent, are therapists then required to refer to separate therapists for the individuals of the couple?
  • Oue lease is up in a couple of days, and the landlords and his family have been there for the past two updating the lawn. We were not notified that they were coming prior to their arrival. This has been an ongoing problem with them. They felt that as soon as they put the house on the market they can come whenever they choose. We have requested in writing that they give us notice , but in last two days they have not honored that . What are my rights?
