QUESTIONS

  • I have a one year lease that expires in a few months and I am worried my landlord my not be renewing the lease. Is the landlord required to give at me least 30 days notice of their intent not to renew lease? If not 30 days then what in minimum notice that must be given (that lease will not be renewed)?
  • My husband died, I was ill when he died. My daughter brought me back to Iowa to get health care and live with her. Gila County is going to charge me with a Class 6 felony for abandoning feral cats if I do not return. I have no car or drivers license.

Can they evict me on those grounds?
  • I am leasing a house threw a management company and found out that the house is in foreclosure and an auction date has already been set. The way I found out is the attorney for the lender posted the notice on our door not by the management company. I had to let them know. Am I still suppose to pay them the lease payment?
  • Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I have 2 siblings and a step sibling who are sole beneficiaries of a trust. My step dad passed almost a year ago. We have heard nothing about the status of the trust. All of his personal property has been sold and presumably those funds have been added to the trust. None of us are contesting the distribution of funds. How long should it generally take for us to hear when we may receive our inheritance and how can I follow up on the courts progress?
