  • I was convicted in AZ for "ASSAULT INTENT/ RECKLESS/ INJURE" in 2009. I understand that I cannot get this expunged if it involves the infliction of serious physical injury, but how or who determines what is a "serious physical injury"? There was no serious physical injury but there was contact.
  • I was convicted of felony theft on July 3 2000, in Yavapai county .At sentencing, the judge said to me. "After you complete probation, come back and see me, and we will take this off your record". I called the court after completing probation. To do what was told to me by the judge. The court of Yavapai told me, " I have no idea as to what it is that we can do for you". Your convicted, is a conviction of law, there's nothing to do for you. Last year I mailed a request to have a say in this matter. I was given a court date. I could not make this date 4/28 . I received a letter saying to bad.
  • a friend if mine is incarcerated and wishes to give me parental rights over his 9 year old son who is now a ward of the state, after being sent letters asking him if he had a family or friend with which he would want the child placed but DCS never attempted to place the child with me as he asked. this has been going on almost a year. I once had guardianship of the child when he was 3 months old until he was alnoay a year, and have known the father since the biological mother, now deceased, was pregnant. They are like family to me. we have been trying to find out if he can give me parentals
  • I am the legal guardian of my two grandsons. Their mother (my daughter) is in prison. The father refuses to accept any responsibility saying they are not his children, even though he was married to my daughter when all three of the children were born. The Court has ordered him to have paternity testing, but he has refused to do so. I am 52 years old and need help supporting these children. Since their father refuses, and their mother is in prison, can I adopt these children and get any kind of aid for them?
