  • I had a default divorce awhile back while I was away on active duty. My now ex told the judge that I made $100k/yr on active duty when my income was far less than half that amount of course. Modifying her and the court's secret divorce now is easy enough, but I'm in arrears for money I couldn't pay from the divorce up until my first modification. How do I get bank statements, tax returns, paystubs and whatever else they need and should have had in the first place to a judge in order to negate a year's worth of $3,500/mo alimony that AZ DES is still trying to enforce? -Making me a homeless vet
  • Regarding Bankruptcy: How long does it take to file, can you see a lawyer one day and file the next? Do your credit cards need to be delinquent to file BK or can they be current? Can they take my 401K if I file BK? How long will BK put off a Trustee sale? If your mortgage is delinquent can you still file BK to try to put off the trustee sale? If you have 2 accounts with one credit company like Discover and one is joint with someone else and one is only in your name, can you just file BK on the one in your name only without them going after the other card with joint owner? Thank you
  • I am a teacher who took FMLA leave for surgery. My principal said that I am not allowed on campus to attend a meeting concerning my schedule. Is this true? He also said that if I request a meeting, they cannot meet with me because of the FMLA guidelines. Is that true? It all sounds fishy. Why wouldn't my staff be allowed to answer my emails under FMLA?
