  • Signed a lease agreement a few weeks ago to an apartment sight unseen due to current resident. Today, my wife and i received keys to the new apt. Immediately found a roach infestation. In every room and every corner, black and german roaches coming out of the walls. Not one thing has been moved in yet and we were in the apt for about3 minutes. Can we legally terminate and/or nullify this lease pre move in, due to health concerns with our newborn? I have video of the roaches crawling everywhere.
  • my kids father file for coustody in 2008 and has had my kids since then, the case was dismissed because he did not continue the propper filling f paperwork. i have been in and out of prision in the passed years but i have no contact with my kids or there father since 2008. i would like to know what legal process i would have to go through to see my kids and possibly have coustody? also is coustody even possible for me to obtain being that he has had them for the past 3years? and being that i have a criminal record?

Questions: Must I, as a Landlord, have to pay my tenants gas bill for hot water? What does "reasonable amounts of hot water" mean specifically? The water heater is in good condition and does not repairs. P.S., I already pay their monthly water that comes from the city.
