  • I have current custody & support orders in CA. I moved to AZ 2 years ago. My ex decided that he didn't want anything to do with them anymore & told me to keep them here in AZ even though our orders have him as sole physical (only since I moved out of state-before it was joint physical) & it is still joint legal custody. They have been with me 100% of the time for the last 6 mos. Father has not made any attempt to contact them or visit them. I would like to have new orders for me to have sole physical & I need an increase in child support (he is garnished in CA). Can I file in Coconino County?

April 25th a man showed up at the door and said that he is the owner of the house and said that my family and I have 10 days to vacate the house. He had a piece of paper with some other name on it and a different address. He crossed out that name and address and put my name and address. He said that if I can be out in 10 days he would pay $300 for the rental truck. I called the landlord and she said that is the owner and yes he plans on fixing up the house and selling it. How can we get them to move forward in paying for extermination and an expert to identify where the mice are coming in?
  • I am divorced and my ex left AZ after. My children are with me but he still has partial custody. He has not contacted or seen the children in 3+yrs. No card, call or anything. My current husband would like to legally become their father. I have no idea where my ex is or how to even contact him. I have an agency searching for him for non payment of child support and they cannot even find him! Could you tell me how to dissolve his rights as father so that my current husband can make them his kids since that is who they call dad. I also want his rights taken away because if anything were to happen to me I don't want him to be able to come in and take them because they wouldn't know him or feel safe with him because of past events.

  • my landlord had provided me a 5 day notice. I went to the office and gave them a large portion of the rent and entered into a promise to pay. I paid off the promise to pay which included all the applicable late fees. My landlord then stated I must sign a promise to pay for an additional $500. I refused.I ask for an explanation and they refuse to tell me where the extra money is coming from. I filed an action in court for unlawful rent increase. Couple days after they were served with compliant, I come and had a "Notice to Terminate Agreement. Isn't this retaliatory action? Can they do this?
