  • I moved into a new upstairs apartment unit in May 2011. It is now June 2011. Everything is great, except I have downstairs neighbors who play loud music from 1 am-5 am. The music is soft enough, but the bass is extremely loud. It vibrates our beds, floors and walls. We have spoken with the manager, who says that she can do nothing. The police have come, (twice), and are sympathetic but because it seems to affect only me (the vibration is in the bedroom below me), they don't know what else to do. Can I break my lease? More specifically, I want to change units. Can that be done?

They ignore all our signs and block anyone from getting in or out safely. We have buses that come and get our kids and they can’t get around the neighborhood because of the parking on both sides of the road. The street are more narrow as they are private and we pay for all up keep. We know we can block the roads off but what else can be done to get those people out and off our streets?
  • I have been leasing land that my manufactured home sits on since July 1998. I no longer reside on the property, but have maintained utilities and monthly lease payments. The landowner sold the property to a third party. The new landowner has given me 30 days notice to remove the home so that she can build a house on the property, quoting ARS 33-1370 (abandonedment) and an incorrect street address. Would 33-1476 and 33-2149 apply here? (180 days notice and Relocation Fund)?
