  • So i just moved down here about a month ago with to move with a friend my name is not on the lease and i also have mail here and hes trying to kick me out in kess then 24 hours but i have no where ekse to go because i am originally from ohio. What are my rights.
  • In accordance to the Late Fee Fairness Amendment Act of 2016, am I able to pay only the amount due for rent to my apartment's property owner and ignore the late fees until a later time? I have been advised that I cannot be evicted for nonpayment of late fees. My lease agreement states there is no grace period for late fees after the 1st of the month, but isn't that illegal in the state of Arizona? Isn't there supposed to be a 5 day grace period?

  • My lease ended on a Sunday. I contacted landlord on Monday to set up walk-through. I was told I needed to return the keys prior to scheduling a walk-though. I returned the keys on Tues. Now Landlord is charging me 2 days additional rent for not returning the keys. Is he allowed to do this?

  • i am a single mother who recently had been broken up with by my daughters dad and im worried about the safty of my daughters well being.   • My apartment lease will be expiring in a few months and the new lease that has been proposed includes a new payment for a percentage of the common area utilities. The calculation is based on the total utility bill for the common areas then breaks down by square footage and number of occupants of each apartment. The monthly charges will fluctuate from month to moth as the common area charges change. My questions are is this legal? Aren't we already paying for the common area utilities by paying rent? Would this not be consider a double dip? Please advise. Thank you, Kathleen Ingram
