  • My family and I are moving from out of state to Arizona. Upon move in, we discovered the house AC was broken. Other repairs were not complete on the house - blinds not installed, shower doesn't work. We have had to pay to stay in a hotel for multiple nights. The property managers are not helpful and do not feel our case is urgent.
  • In the state of Arizona can a parent/parents legally kick a 17 year old out?

  • We terminated our lease early. We gave them notice in writing. They have continued to stall getting the house rented to someone else. It was ready to be moved into at the first of the month and they won't even let a new tenant look at it until the 10th. I read that according to Ariz rev stat 33-1370 that a "landlord has a duty to find a new tenant". I'm having a problem finding that actual wording in the law. We are on the hook for rent until a new renter is found, but it seems they are preventing that.
  • We recently (7/29/14) lost our home to foreclosure, the question I have is that when we initially bought our home in Oct. 2004 the purchase price was $125,500.00 with a 3 yr arm. we then refinanced to get a fixed interest rate and got some cash to pay off debt, the refi amt was $171,000.00 that was about 5 or 6 yrs ago and now fast forward to 2014 I get a statement from the bank saying we owe $224,600+ thousand dollars on the home, how does my debt increase to that amount and is this legal?

  • We belong to a golf club. They offer an annual trail fee which allows us to use our personal golf cart. We paid this annual fee in June. We have decided to move out of state and requested that the unused portion of the annual fee be returned. The club manager says they do not refund any part of this fee. Is this allowable under Arizona law?
