Child Custody
questions & answers
Question: I have sole legal custody of my 3 kids my ex has supervised visits, I am not allowed to move 100 miles from where I did when our divorce finalized without permission. Am I allowed to take my kids on vacation out of town or state, or do I have to get permission from the court?
Answer:
You may want to review this article from the azlawhelp site: http://www.azlawhelp.org/articles_info.cfm?mc=1&sc=1&articleid=68
It states that you must give 60 days notice before moving 100 miles or more. Check your paperwork to see if this is what it stated or that you weren't allowed to move.
