Question: My wife bought a car with her mom as cosigner. They have both since passed away. What do I do with said car with payments still owed?
Answer: If either your wife and mother in law have property, it may need to go through Probate Court. It would be best for you to speak with an attorney that handles probate cases. You can find a probate attorney at the Arizona State Bar's website, www.azbar.org On the home page to the right of the screen is a block that says "Find an Attorney". In the Focus or area of practice, put in Probate, it will bring up a list of attorneys around Arizona. You can click on the name to find their address and phone number.
