Divorce & Annulment
questions & answers
Question: I have been unable to find and secure any legal representation throughout out entire divorce and I have paid dearly for it. I live on a fixed disability income and cannot afford to pay for services. I have gone through local channels such as AZ211, AZLAW.COM & COMMUNITY LEGAL SERVICES twice and I am still not represented. Any help would be more than appreciated! Thank you, Diana Berne
Answer: You may be eligible for our Modest Means Project. To qualify, please contact us at 866-637-5341, option 4. they will do a screening to make sure you qualify, if qualified, you can obtain a list of family law attorneys that will give you a one hour consultation for $75. If the attorney takes the case, he has agreed to represent the person for $75 an hour, still a lot of money, but greatly reduced from what attorneys normally charge. Or you can contact the Maricopa County Lawyer Referral Service at 602-257-4434.
