Question: Will the court order extracurricular activity to be granted if a 14 year old presents the topic to the court?

Answer:

Arizona courts have discretion to consider extra curricular activities (i.e. sports, music, dance) in calculations for child support but they are not required to do so.  It really comes down to the specific circumstances of the case, the type of activity, the financial resources of the parties, and whether there are any agreements regarding the activity/(ies) between the parents/custodians. 

....I am not certain how much consideration the court will lend to the activity if (only) the 14-year old raises the topic.....
