Child Support
questions & answers
Question: My husband currently lives with me, and our 2 daughters. He has barely been paying anything toward bills and rent and recently there have been some domestic violence issues also. Can I file for child support even though he is currently living in my home?
Answer: Unless you are divorced, it is my understanding you can NOT seek child support.
You may want to speak with a family law attorney. Here is the Department of Economic Security website, specifically related to child support. https://www.azdes.gov/az_child_support/ Here is a website related to Domestic Violence...it provides great resources for victims. http://www.aardvarc.org/dv/states/azdv.shtml
