Question: I am an American citizen and got married in India. I been staying away from my wife for almost 2 years. To file for divorce do I have to file in India or here to be valid?
Answer: To begin a divorce in Arizona, one of the spouses must reside in Arizona for 90 days or have been stationed with the armed forces for 90 days. A court case must be started in the county where you reside.
