Question: is a custodial parent required by law to notify the non custodial parent of an address change, whether its in the divorce decree/custody agreement or not?
Answer: Parties leaving the state with a child usually have to give 60 days notice before leaving. The Maricopa Superior Court has a self help center online that may help. http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/SuperiorCourt/Self-ServiceCenter/Forms/FamilyCourt/index.asp If you are located outside of maricopa, your local county superior court may also have self help forms.
