Question: I live in public housing and someone in my home is being accused of a criminal activity that did NOT take place, I am now being evicted. What are my rights? is there anything I can do?

Answer:

If you, a household member, or a guest commits a crime on or near the  rental property, or does anything that threatens the health or safety of  other tenants or the management, your landlord may serve you with a 24-hour notice of an “Immediate and Irreparable Material Breach.”
a. This notice states that you cannot correct a significant rule
violation and that you must move out within 24 hours. 
b. If you do not move out within that time, your landlord can file in court to have you evicted.
