Question: Is there any law regarding the age of a person subpeona for a trial?
Answer:
- Generally, a subpoena is an order of the court for a witness. And, as ARS 12-2201 says, “every person, including a party, may testify in any civil or criminal proceeding, or before any person who has authority to receive evidence, except as otherwise expressly provided by law. However, ARS 12-2202 has some requirements for children under ten.
