Question: While drawing UC benefits, Is there a minimum amount of pay from job offers you have to accept before losing benefits for refusing job?

Answer:

On the Department of Economic Security (DES) website under Unemployment Insurance Benefits there is a document called The Guide to Unemployment Insurance Arizona Benefits.  It states, “earnings within a calendar week of more than $30.50 from partial or temporary employment , commission sales, odd jobs, or self-employment will reduce the weekly benefit amount to which you are entitled.”  This document is sent to all applicants.  For more information regarding unemployment benefits, refer to the DES website.
