Eviction
questions & answers
Question: Does it matter which of the court locations I submit a forcible detainer too? The house is in Chandler, but I live in Scottsdale. Can I collect a special daily fee on the eviction notice that is not on the lease agreement? How is the tenant served the complaint? Is the landlord responsible for that?
Answer: You may want to read the articles on this website titled “Evictions”, “The Court Process for Evictions”, and “Forcible Detainers Appeals: Representing Yourself”. You may also want to review the Arizona Residential Landlord Tenant Act . Housing matters can be complicated. To find out how the laws may apply to your specific situation, you may want to consult with an attorney.
