Foreclosure
questions & answers
Question: I was in the midst of a loan modification review and was told they granted me a 30 day extension on my foreclosure. I have now come to find out they never did the 30day extension and my house was sold. Do I have any legal recourse?
Answer: AZLawHelp cannot provide specific legal advice, however there are resources available to help determine if there was a wrongful foreclosure or any misconduct in the process. Information on finding an attorney can be found on AZLawHelp in the "WHERE TO FIND AN ATTORNEY FOR SPECIFIC LEGAL ADVICE" article, or homeowners may apply online for free or reduced fee legal services through the Access to Justice Online Intake System (link on top-right of AZLawHelp under LegalLEARN section).
