Landlord and Tenant - Mobile Home Parks
questions & answers
Question: landlord broke the lease, so I had to leave my home or face eviction. What will happen to my home, since I am still trying to sell it, can they prevent the sale and/or take possession of it?
Answer: It is impossible to answer this question without knowing many more details – but as a general rule if a mobile home owner owes significant overdue rent for the lot space, then the mobile home park landlord may some authority over the sale and/or movement of the mobile home. You may wish to speak with an attorney about this. There are links to free and low-cost legal services on this website (at http://www.azlawhelp.org/accessToJustice).
