Question: Section 33-1319 , part D states that single family homes are excluded from provisitons of this section (bed bug provisions). I own one condo which has an adjoining wall to another condo I do not own. Does this condo count as single family, since I have no control over the other unit?

Answer: The following is provided for educational purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice. To determine how the law applies to your specific situation, you may consider consulting an attorney directly. According to ARS § 33-1310, “"Single family residence" means a structure maintained and used as a single dwelling unit. Notwithstanding that a dwelling unit shares one or more walls with another dwelling unit, it is a single family residence if it has direct access to a street or thoroughfare and shares neither heating facilities, hot water equipment nor any other essential facility or service with any other dwelling unit.” Therefore, if you have direct access to a street and do not share heating, hot water, or other essential services, the condo is likely a single family residence.
