Question: Are scorpions considered routine pest control?
Answer: Contact the apartment manager, landlord, HOA, for a description of what is covered under "routine pest control." The landlord/apartment manager/HOA should have this in writing from the exterminator that is under contract with them. The apartment manager should have this information. Ask to contact the exterminator directly if you are unsuccessful. The exterminator that provides the service should be able to explain what is covered in "routine pest control." If scorpions are not covered in "routine pest control," ask for the reason why. For further legal information, contact the following services: Community Legal Services: 602-258-3434
