Question: Do landlords are obligated to provide appliances in a rented home and pay for its repairs?
Answer: A landlord who has rented a single-family dwelling to a tenant is required to provide only those appliances that were identified as to be provided by the landlord in the rental agreement (A.R.S. 33-1324(C)). The same rule applies to repairs.
