My friend's fiance just had a baby. It was the happiest moment of his life. Then a week later, his fiance decided she that she felt trapped. She took the baby lied to file a restraining order against him so he can't see his baby. Can you please advise the best possible thing he can do to get his baby back?

My husband died 4 months after we married. Under Arizona law, am I entitled to anything in his estate. He did not have a will.

I submitted a petition to modify parenting and child support, where the respondent did not initially agree. The respondent has since agreed to the petition to avoid the conflict resolution conference. What forms do I need to file to reflect this change and the respondents new found cooperation?
-
Our original divorce decree did not stipulate payment for secondary education. Can this be modified now that the children are 18 and in college. Child Support payments are still being made.

I have an almost 6-year-old son; never married; son's father is on his birth certificate and I receive child support, but no written custody order or anything else. (Does that mean paternity has been established, but I by default have legal custody?) Son's father moved out of state a few years ago; we maintain regular contact and do visits when we're able. I would like to move out of state and potentially out of the country for my career.

My 36 year old daughter died recently in a car crash. I have had to make all funeral arrangements, so sent my ex-husband the bill for him to pay HALF. He is bulking at paying it. We are both next of kin, do I have to pay the whole $7500 myself, or do I have any recourse to make him own up to his responsibilities to his deceased daughter?

I need a break from my mom we got in an argument. I know if I asked her to leave she wouldn't let me. I wrote her a note saying why I left and that I would be back tomorrow after I attend school. Meaning I will be gone less than 24 hours. If she calls the cops on me for leaving what is the worst they can do?

My ex-husband and myself have joint legal custody of our 14yr old daughter. Our divorce was final in 2007, I am now remarried and my current husband has a new job out of state and my daughter has expressed wanting to live with us during the school year and her father during all holiday and summer breaks. I'm fine with this arrangment, her father is not. At what age in AZ is a childs wishes taken into consideration? Thank you

I currently have joint custody of my children in which I have them 50% of the time. My ex-wife and I do not agree on which schools our children should attend, and our paperwork states that neither of us can make the final decision. An attorney had told me that if we have tried mediation with conciliation services (which we have tried), then the next step would be to file a motion for school determination. My question is: how do you go about doing that? I do not see forms that seem to pertain to this. Thanks!
