QUESTIONS

  • In the past I have called in the police for help because my husband was hit, pushing or verbal abusing, but there was " never any mark or signs of abuse" so they said they couldn't help me. Las night out of nowhere he started to hit me again and push away some big soda bottles that my daughter and I were working on and did hit my daughter. But ones again I but have that many marks. Can I ask for help?
  • Where can I find previous restraining orders records? Trying to gather all possible evidence that my ex has a pattern of domestic violence. I know all of us 3 women who he has been with filed for an order of protection and experienced domestic abuse. He beat me up when I was pregnant with our son and our son came out early and is now in NICU. I want to do everything possible to protect my child.
  • I'm in a verbally and mentally abusive relationship and want to know. I have a friend that i have had for years that i would like to have over to my home and my husband won't allow me to have friends . If my friend comes to see me does she have to leave if my husband says so even though i want her here?
  • What do I do if my spouse filed a domestic violence claim against me wrongfully? I have been out of the house for 3 weeks because she is the one who was abusive.
  • Hi my name is Alycia Lee Bock I am very interested in getting involved in helping victims of domestic violence I suffered for 15 plus years and my goal is to share my story to help others can you give me information how I can get involved in my community thank
  • My husband has been mentally and physically abusive for the past 7 years. In January he punched me repeatedly in front of our five year son and kick the door in when I kicked him out. My oldest has told me that that he to was hurt by my husband. I've now lost my home(being evicted) and Job because of this. My parents live in another state where I have more opportunities to live a better life with my kids. Can I move to another state and Handel my DV case and divorce?
  • I have been married for almost 11 years with 5 children ages 7 and under. I have been a stay at home mother for almost 8 years, have been attending school full time at home for the past 3 years and have plans to continue until I've reached my doctorate, which will take approx another 5 years. I found out my husband is being unfaithful and I want a separation but he won't agree to one, so I'd like a divorce. Is there a way I can get him to leave our home we own while I'm dealing with finding an attorney and filing? He won't be happy/nice if he knows. He won't let me let me leave with the kids.
  • I see a lot of doctrine that establishes the means of acquiring a Protection Order, but I see nothing in regards to the ramifications of filing a false one. So my question is; does filing a false Protection Order, also include immunity from prosecution? Is there any justice for anyone who has been the victim of a system remedy, which has been abused to the point where it has become weapon, rendering it ineffective? Its ironic that a system created to help victims, in turn makes victims. Was that the intended purpose, to deprive fathers of their children and create a plethora problems?
  • My ex husband came through the drive thru of my work while I was off, said to a coworker that he would pay him to kill me. My co worker told me and my boss about this. The police were notified and they said, " Well youre still standing, I guess if anything happens to you, we will start an investigation." Is this legal?
  • Can a phoenix police officer go into a courtroom and serve an order of protection, since the person is already there.
