Where to Find an Attorney for Specific Legal Advice
Arizona has three legal aid organizations which cover different regions of the state.
- Community Legal Services (800) 852-9075 covers Maricopa, Mohave, Yavapai, Yuma and LaPaz Counties.
- Southern Arizona Legal Aid (800) 640-9465 covers southern Arizona.
- DNA People’s Legal Services (800) 789-7287 covers northern Arizona.
All legal service programs in Arizona differ, and their criteria for accepting cases vary. The legal aid organizations above all have the same criteria of income restrictions and legal status requirements, but do have varying priorities.

Individuals may apply for free and reduced fee legal services by using the "Access To Justice Online Intake System" through AZLawHelp.
If the legal services program in your area cannot assist you, you may be able to find a lawyer through lawyer referral services in Maricopa County (602) 257-4434 or Pima County (520) 623-4625.
The State Bar also maintains a listing of all Arizona attorneys on their website, and certifies “specialists” in eight legal areas. (Not all attorneys seek such certification, however.) Lists of specialists can also be found at the State Bar of Arizona’s website.

under a civil judgement, as the appeal process is pending , do you have to pay the fine?

I was sitting in my car, engine running for four minutes underneath a no parking sign in a paratransit loading zone (Tucson)and was handed a $538 fine which I'm appealing. 1)Is no parking the same as no standing? 2)Does the ticket enforcer need to identify himself?

I have a case going on with legal aid and I got the person served with the paperwork. The court told me to give that person 20 days to give an answer. This Thursday will be the 20th day and I wanted to know what do I do on the 21st day if the person doesn't give an answer?

WE have paid a photographer $600 for items he has never provided and he now refuses to speak to us. We are based in the UK but I have family in Arizona who will attend on my behalf and we feel that a simple claim might just be ignored. if my car was inbounded in mesa for 30 day imbound. can the tow yard and police department keep my car for ransom due to money owed to them for storage fees. all tickets were dismissed in regards to the vehicle being towed.
