  • What if Medicaid continually refuses to diagnose a medical condition that Medicare covers? Should Medicaid follow Medicare LCD's? I have Medicare FFS and Medicaid.

  • My boyfriend has a 17 year old son who has been caught several times smoking marijuana and we just found out he is selling it. My boyfriend kicked him out by packing his things and bringing him over to his Grandma's house. The son left that house and is now living with multiple friends and stating he has been abandoned. The problem with letting him back home is the use and selling of illegal drugs. These are things my boyfriend could be arrested for if they are found in his home. What are his legal rights to remove the son from his home without being considered a child abandonment case?
  • Separated now for 7 months and had to move in with my brother's family in Utah because we had no money. Should I file for divorce in Utah or AZ? We filed & granted Bankruptcy last April. We have very left (furniture). I still help him out with bills occasionally & my name is still on utilities etc. in AZ
  • We have received numerous noise complaints. We addressed the issue multiple times. It was determined that the flooring was poor and that the plumbing in our apartment was broken (causes a loud banging anytime water is turned on). Leasing staff entered our apt. without permission and stated they discovered these things. We thought they found the source of the noise and would figure out a solution. Yesterday we received another 10 day noise complaint. My roommates and I are afraid of eviction and we aren't sure what the next steps should be.
  • I moved into a new upstairs apartment unit in May 2011. It is now June 2011. Everything is great, except I have downstairs neighbors who play loud music from 1 am-5 am. The music is soft enough, but the bass is extremely loud. It vibrates our beds, floors and walls. We have spoken with the manager, who says that she can do nothing. The police have come, (twice), and are sympathetic but because it seems to affect only me (the vibration is in the bedroom below me), they don't know what else to do. Can I break my lease? More specifically, I want to change units. Can that be done?
  • I'm pregnant and don't wish to keep the baby. I'm back in school trying to get my life on track for my son who I already am raising. Abortion is not an option. My question is 2 parts: 1). Is it possible to relinquish my parental rights to the father (who is older and stable) once the baby is born if all parties are in agreement? 2). If a close family friend and her husband want to adopt the baby, can I and the father relinquish rights to them if we all are in agreement? We all want the outcome to be the best for the baby and parent(s) to ensure healthy attachment at birth. Thank you
