QUESTIONS

  • I have a tenant with a one year lease, the lease will expired in another 4 months, but the tenant has neglected to report damages cause by water leaks on the roof, and most of my ceilings are falling down, I have extensive damages due to the tenant not notifying of the water leaks, I will very much like to give her 30 days notice to leave the premises, it's going to cost me lots of money to make the repairs and since the leaks are being going on for so long my homeowners insurance wont paid for them, can I send a Unconditional Quit form to the tenant? Thanks.
  • I would like to enforce my divorce decree. In the decree my ex husband was to buy me out of a portion of our business. He had 2 years to buy out my portion with an agreed upon amount. He is refusing to do so. What do I need to file in order to enforce this? The business is still operating and he is employed by it.
  • My widowed mother disinherited my sister who is my only sibling. Her will states that she has 2 children and my sister and I are named. She states that "I am making no distribution to (sister's name inserted) in this will." I am the executor and I am the sole inheritor of her entire estate. Am I required to notify my sister of our mother's' passing? Am I required to post a notice in the local paper here or, if public notice is required and I post it online? Where? The sister is in Florida. My mother and I live in Arizona.
  • An attorney filed a patent for me and it has been rejected/ they are being investigated by USPTO for unethical conduct/ malpractice. I lost money plus the patent. They were sketchy at best and tried to avoid me knowing who or where they were. Now they are trying to send me paperwork retroactively to cover their hides. They are located in Scottsdale Arizona. I live in Florida. Can I get my money back? What would be the best way to pursue legal action?
  • I had a tax # when I lived in IN.I never used this number but the state placed a lien on my credit.I finally had this released but just last week I was called by a credit collections agency, saying I owed this still. they have called me 5 times in 5 days and lied on the messages left, says that my number was listed as a reference for a family member or friend? asked me to call them.I think this is harrasment and fraud for the lies left on vm?
  • Im been sent to court for breaching my 13 month contract with apartments........im a mother of 4 lil ones in 2011 when i was linving there 3/4 of the summer we had no air conditioning it was hell they then turned off the cooling system in october when the temperatures still reach th 100's then for three weeks of november we had no gas to cook with and no hot water to bathe with i had enough i saved up money and moved out begining of december, 4 months short of my lease ending.i offered to pay for decembers rent but they wouldnt take it.
