  • I have a small family with two children under 1yr facing eviction and I was talking with the assistant manager trying to come to some sort of payment plan and this was Monday because Court was that Thursday I was told by the assistant manager of the apartment complex that if I was planing on pay the rent in full with all the late fees ect, on Friday, that I should not miss work to go to my court hearing on Thursday! so I mist court I didn't have the complete amount Owed to pay and now we are about to be on the streets! Was that right for her to tell me that

  • I recently renewed my lease. When doing that I made it aware to my apartment manager that my ceiling was leaking!I was told that the AC unit ( which is a P-tech unit like used in hotels) from the apartment above me was leaking. So they told the tenants to place a bucket under the unit to catch the water!!! Well my ceiling still leaks from time to time and the sheet rock has started to fall, and the window casing near the leak had also beginto fall!! Im 3 months into my new lease and they still refuse to make repairs!!!! Can I break my lease without penalty because of neglected repairs?

  • If I'm on SS/Disability and don't get paid until the 3rd of every month can my apartment manager charge me a late fee for paying rent on the third not the first of the month? I had been told by the previous manager that it's illegal for him to do so. Now the new/current manager says that he (previous Mgr) was wrong, misinformed. I need to get a straight answer.
