QUESTIONS

  • I live in a complex and in our contracts state that they would spray once a month for bugs and change air filter, once a year change fire detector batteries. None of this is being done and we now have a bed bug problem here and they have not fixed security gate ..it has been broken for 2 years and they have us locked out of the laundry room..can anything be done on our part?   • This question does not exactly have to do with car accidents,though the situation arose from one.I cannot find adivse on this anywhere-A chiropracter placed a medical lein when someone rear ended me.The insurance company should have paid,chiropracter cooresponded with them 2yrs later which was past the statute of limitations and I guess just dropped it.This was 2002.The lein now sits at the county recorder and cannot be revoked unless by the Dr. who no longer practices.This is now interfering with my house buying process.I have called everywhere and get nothing but brick walls.Please help
  • I currently have a 80/20 home mortgage. The first is with one lender and is a 30 year fixed. The second is with a different lender and is a 15 year balloon fixed. Does Arizona's non deficiency stipulation apply to both loans or just the first. I am concerned about foreclosing and then being pursued in collection by the second loan holder.

  • My sister in law came to stay with us from CA because we didn't want her to be homeless....we allowed her to stay here so that she could have time to get a job and find a place for herself. She is not on the lease and doesn't pay rent nor has there ever been rent spoken of because this was supposed to be temporary. She did have her mail forwarded to herself her. Since moving in we have found out she is actively using street drugs and is not making efforts to help herself and has become increasingly hostile and verbally abusive. Can she still be removed as a guest...the police said no. Help.
  • I recently had my DUI conviction vacated. It it my understanding that I must contact all databases that contain my conviction and inform them of the fact that it has been vacated so that they may update their system. If this is so, how do I go about doing this? I need all potential employers, etc. to see that the conviction has been set aside. Thank you.
  • we rent a home and are a half a month behind on rent, My roomate and I are both on lease i wrote a promise to pay and faxed to him on monday of this week but my roomate is unable to come up with her part so he basically said he was having locks changed today but we have not gotten any formal eviction notice is this legal for him to do since i sent him a promise to pay by today or would vacate didn't say when I would vacate
  • I am wanting to move out and need to find a new tenant to take over lease. I found a guy and he signed the lease and made the deposit with the landlord, then said less than a day later he has an emergency and can't move in. The landlord says I need to continue my search for a replacement tenant but I asked since he signed the lease isn't he locked in and it's no longer my responsibility. So am I still locked in or is it now the landlords responsibility to find someone?
  • My ex and I have joint physical custody and in the JPA we are required to notify the other parent when we travel out state with our daughter and provide an itinerary. My Ex travels frequentl and will NOT abide by this rule and will take my daughter out of state and refuses to give me locations, dates and times. what is my recourse? My daughter doesn't even know where and when she's going.
  • Is there a law or work on a law regarding couples involved in domestic violence requiring them to seek counseling separately. Or, more specifically, if doing counseling with a couple when domestic violence is apparent, are therapists then required to refer to separate therapists for the individuals of the couple?
