QUESTIONS

  • I am representing myself in court in regards to visitations and I am needing to subpoena records from my childrens therapist for the hearing in January. How do I do this?
  • We have leased our home and the lease does not expire until 5/31/14. I now have to retire because of health reasons and would like to return to my home in AZ. We are currently renting in Iowa. Can I break the lease to get back into my own home? It is my primary residence.
  • I rent a room from sommeone and there was a house vote to kick us out..how long do we have?
  • My landlord has sold the house I am renting. I have 10 months left on the lease. The new home-owner is not buying the house as "occupied". I have agreed to move out. Do the old homeowners owe me any sort of compensation because they broke the lease (comparable to what I would owe if I were the one breaking the lease)? I had about 1 weeks notice. Thanks!
  • During the final divorce could I change my name back to my maiden name but also keep my married last name, Just hyphen it? EX: jane doe-smoe
  • Can I get UI if I work as a substitute teacher while looking for fulltime permanent work?
  • What steps do I need to take for filling full custody of my child when we both have joint custody
  • How many months can a landlord write a residential lease for.
  • I live in a manufactured home on my daughers land. In lieu of space rent, I "sold" my trailer and car to her back in 2010. It is now jointly titled. When I die, I will only have household possessions, clothes, some jewerly. My entire possessions if sold at yard sale prices would probably net less than $2,000. Would my daughter have to do a Small Estate Affidafidt for my few earthly possessions? The cost of filing and hiring a lawyer would surpass the value. I may have to go on Medicaid as well- do they go after personal possessions (not property)? I would hate to have to cause such a burden for such few possessions. Thank you!
  • This scam is of a different nature. A seemingly nice looking man contacted me on Myspace with all the sweet words, found I was living on SSI and offered me a job. The job was what caught my attention, and this job is posted elsewhere, to buy certain "materials list" of a particular printer, ink, software to print so called payroll checks. He also offered me a chance to buy stock into Midwesttextiles.com. I have all his info where he wanted me to send the money by Money Gram. He also wanted my acct number to pay me for my work. They would send the "materials list" to me if I would like to invest. Since this is of a different nature, do I report it to AZ Attorney General or US?
