QUESTIONS

  • I was arrested for disorderly conduct. I was not driving nor charged with a DUI. The police told the to take a breathalyzer or go to the hospital. I was examined and then taken to jail. The hospital is now billing me for $800. Is that bill not the state's responsibility?
  • I left home with few belongings because of domestic abuse. I obtained an order of protection,which he has violated,been arrested for & released. Husband filed for divorce listing my separate things to be mine. No other divisions of property was mentioned. They are at the house, house in his name, he changed the locks, can I get them with police escort now or must I wait til the divorce is final? Who would contact him about my coming? I am not planning on responding to summons.He is saying that he will dispose of all things if I do not remove them right away as he wants them out of his house.

  • My sons father and I went to court and a custody arrangement was ordered in court. my son's father hasn't used his visitation for 9 months. Yesterday he said he wanted to see him again. I brought my son to a public location to try to allow him to become familiar with his dad again but my son who is three was noticeably afraid During the visit my son's father said that if I did not let him immediately take his for court ordered visits he would inform the judge. What can I do to have the current order imediately changed so that he can get to know father agian before having overnight visits
  • How long am I held responsible for keeping my son's abandoned tools & personal property, before I can either sell, donate or otherwise dispose of it? I desperately need to be able to clean up my patio and back yard.
