  • My wife and 3 children have been renting a home in mesa for a year now. The landlord has permanently moved to Oregon and has who ever she decides come over and leave us threating notes and notes on my wifes car. her so called "step dad" has harrassed my wife while at work on numerous occasions because he doesnt like my attitude and always has weird request for us..Our AC went out on Memorial Day and my landlord was notified and he svd as the landlrd name for the diag chk of the compl broke a/c. $3800 new, $2600 repair....She told us that when we send our rent in shed fix..stil no air. eviction
  • I live in a rental apartment. The microwave oven door fell apart and when I called to have it repaired I was charged for the repairs which cost more than if I had replaced the oven. There are also fees that were added on for community amenities that were not listed in the lease, such as community electricity and common gas, and valet waste and waste management. ?Can the apartment complex charge me for these even though they are not listed in the lease?
  • Our insurance was cancelled for our rental unit. The carport needs to be repaired. The tenant has two cars that are broken under the carport. Legally he's allowed to have these cars on the property. He has been asked in writing to remove them and why and has not. What can we do?

  • We had flooding from recent storm. Walls got wet, carpet got wet, and light fixture not working. Landlord said let dry out and things will be fine. No repairs. Only cut open wall to worst leak and put a dryer in there. No one has come back. That 9/8/14. Today is 9/10/14. Should we give 5 or 10 day notice to fix? It now smells moldy in here, and I have to cook dinner in semi dark. Already frustrated because we have roaches! I have allergies and don't want to be exposed to them or to mold.

  • My mother tried to evict a roomate from her home. She called the cops upset 3 times and the roomate got a restraining order against her in her own home. she is 68 yrs old recovering from lung cancer surgery. Her roomate verbally her and refuses to move out. He has destoryed her home and it she now has cockroaches and bugs and can not safely get around her home. He listenes to all her phone conversations and gets his dad to threaten her with calling cops & throwing in jail. What can she do? How can he get a restraining order against a woman who cant even lift 20lbs. He dose not pay rent/bills
