QUESTIONS

  • I got married in the US, but my spouse is a Korean citizen and never lived here, just visited. He went back to korea and got a divorce over there (mutual). Now he is legally divorced thru korean court and I have the official notarized court documents. Is it automatically accepted here in the USA? I am trying to get married again to someone else and want to make sure we are allowed to now.
  • I've been served by the non-custodial parent for joint custody and modification of support. How do I file a response? I have 20 days and I don't know which form to use.
  • I was curious as to what the law is regarding not being under any signed lease for renting a house. The landlord is causing issues and I'd like to vacate without notice. Thank you,
  • How do I get a divorce when I don't know where my spouse is.
  • My fiancĂ© and I are in a month to month lease. On 8-26-16 a guest of ours that was visiting the state was accused of crime on property. The next day the landlord stated we had to leave that day or we could pay for next month's rent and be evicted afterwards. They stated a eviction would show on credit affectively making it nearly impossible to rent anywhere else. On the rental agreement there was no notice stating we needed to advise them if we had a guest staying longer than 14 days and he has not been formally charged. What options do I have.
  • All, I have a 3 yrs old boy that was born when I was 24 and his mom was 16; I'm 28 now and she is 19. I pay her a weekly amount for child support (casual arrangement, have notarized letter with terms), and we had a verbal agreement that I would take him Fri night-Sun night and every other Wednesday. We got into an argument and now she will not let me see my boy; I have been a part of his life since the beginning. Can I take her to court to make custody and support legal? Will her being a 16 yr old mother be reason for criminal charges? Thanks in advance.
  • How do I aquire an application for charges that occured in "Pima County" ?
  • I have rented a room in my home to a lady and her 7 cat and 2 rabbits for 4 years. It started as a "to help someone out" situation to she is a hoarder and does not want to move. I understand I can take legal action to force her to move but what about the animals. I can not take care of them and I am afraid she will just leave them here. Can I force her to take her animal with her? Thank you.
  • My husband and I let someone move in with us and rent a room. We had no contact. The verbal agreement was that he would pay $400/month. He would pay $200 every two weeks. He wasshort $50 and promised to pay it in 2 more weeks. When the two weeks came, he left saying he'd be back on Tuesday. That was two and a half weeks ago. He is not responding to pho the calls or messages. He left his belongings here and his vehicle. What can we do about his stuff?
  • My ex lost his job in March of this year, he hasn't worked since then. What is the typical course of action when something like this happens? Does a letter get sent to him? Is he required to notify the courts? Any information regarding this process would be alot of help, thanks in advance.
