  • I have rented this house for 8 years now. I have been fighting with my landlord because they do not fix anything. My stove was falling apart and I had to buy a new one. The most important thing is the old a/c unit used to clog and leak. It caused water to leak into the linen closet inside front bathroom. The old repair guy came out and took pictures but never came back. The property manager came out and took pictures because there is mold in that bathroom,m. My landlord has not fixed it, I cannot afford to move because I am helping my daughter with nursing school. What can I do?
  • I've owned my trailer since January 2013. I've had my male dog for over 2 years now and have had no problems until about 3 months ago when our most recent manager told me I have to put up a fence cause my dog is "agressive" when she gets to walk through not around my yard to check my meter.   • A friend of mine who lived in an RV park recently died. He left his RV to me. At the time of his death he was renting on a yearly basis, and was paid up through May 2018. Park management says that the lot rental payments are not transferable, and that I must sign a new rental agreement. Have looked through Title 33 Chapter 19, but not sure if anything there applies. Is it true that the park owner can "keep the rent," in a case like this?

  • I applied for food stamps and cash assistance on 11/16/15 and was approved for foodstamps and have already received them. However, the cash assistance is still pending. I understand it can take up to 45 days for them to make a decision but my question is if it is approved will the backdate the cash assistance to the date of application or will it become effective the 1st of the month after approval?
