QUESTIONS

  • I have a 2 year old son and his bio-father has never really been in his life. We went through a custody hearing and he was given some visitation but now is wanting to sign his rights over. We have mutually agreed on this. How would we go about doing this? I am married and have a stable house hold.
  • My widowed mother disinherited my sister who is my only sibling. Her will states that she has 2 children and my sister and I are named. She states that "I am making no distribution to (sister's name inserted) in this will." I am the executor and I am the sole inheritor of her entire estate. Am I required to notify my sister of our mother's' passing? Am I required to post a notice in the local paper here or, if public notice is required and I post it online? Where? The sister is in Florida. My mother and I live in Arizona.
  • How do I find a record of payments made to me through Clearinghouse, my ex-husband stopped paying for 6 months because he changed jobs and says Clearinghouse screwed up the info. He has arreages of $1800.00 for those 6 months. He has been current since he finally set it up with Clearinghouse, but I need to show where he didn't pay. Can I get those records from Clearinghouse, and how????
  • how old does a child have to be to be able to work full time?
  • I got glasses through AHCCCS in Oct. '12 and my son just broke them. Will they cover new ones?
  • I have a signed lease that states my rent is $680 for my student apt. Before moving in the apartment was changed and the new rent became $50 more per mo. I paid this, but never signed an adendum to the original lease - this is my first apt rental. Do I have any recourse to ask for the $50/mo back (now totaling $250) since the amount was never part of my lease or because I paid it, does it mean implied acceptance and binding. They are charging me a break lease fee and I'm trying to get them to come down on the amount. I feel I was taken advantage of since I'm young.
  • my son was born in arizona, his father and I do not have any legal custody papers but my son has been residing in las vegas for the past 8 years. I want to be able to have my son visit for the summers or what not but I am not sure how to go about it, especially if his father is not willing.
  • If there have been multiple vehicle break-ins and I am moving because I don't feel safe, can I leave without penalty? My lease asks for a 60 day notice, this just happened no way for me to give a notice. Also my lease is up September 9. I read that it's AZ state law, that if a tenant feels unsafe they may leave. I am moving because I literally can't sleep because my car was broken into and I have a small child.
  • Hi I was married for 9 years...After the divorce I removed my husband last name ...I feel devastated now that I did that ..can I change and add my husband last name again?
  • If I owned my house before getting married, can I sell it before we're divorced without having to split the money I make from selling it?
