  • We have been divorce since Jul. 2009. We still lived in the house until Aug. 09 but I moved out due to her hostile. I decided to split our share, my 1/2 of the house (it was paid off by my father as a gift). I tried to get refinance-get the house-give her money 1/2 -and she was too BUT both of us fail to secure the loan we need. On 15 Oct. 09, I ask a realtor to sell our house so I can get my 1/2, her 1/2 but she repulsed to sign the sale auth and still live in it until now. What can I do to have her sign the sell, get my 1/2 and give her 1/2 so I move on?
  • How far can they go back for child support
  • I made a huge mistake by cosigning on a car loan for a girlfriend back on 09/15/08. She only made 9 payments on the vehicle then let it go back to the bank. It’s been almost 6-1/2 years since she made her last payment and now they’re coming after me, after all these years have gone by. I was told that Arizona Statute of Limitations A.R.S. § 47-2725 is four (4) years for auto loans. But their attorney is ignoring that and coming after me regardless. It's now October 2015 and they are coming after me for the loan amount + interest totaling $13,000 altogether. I'm retired and living solely on Social Security of $1,776 per month and two small pensions totaling $624 which = $2,400 per month. And I'm living with my daughter to make ends meet. Therefore I can't afford to pay theses people. I had an initial pre-trial conference on 10/8/15 and represented myself because I can’t afford an attorney. It was determined that there will be a trial on 12/14/15. I told the loan company in court “that I have no money and living on $2,400 per month and living with my daughter to make ends meet, and they’re still pursuing the trial date. My questions are: 1) Will the Arizona Statute of Limitations A.R.S. § 47-2725 four (4) years get me out of this mess completely? 2) I've been told and read online that Social Security income and Pensions “cannot be garnished”. Do you know if this is true? If it's true then I have nothing to worry about and won't need to file bankruptcy. 3) If I lose my case can I file bankruptcy on a judgement that's been awarded against me? 4) Can they levy / garnish my checking account where my Social Security checks and Pension checks are electronically deposited? Thank You for your help.
  • Hello, I came across your ad that states you give advice to vets and families.I am the spouse of a 100% service connected deceased Veteran. My daughter got divorced 9/2013. Her ex in 12/2013 had his support cut in half., leaving her very little support. Now he wants to try to get equal parenting time of their 3 year old daughter, so he no longer has to pay any support. He has shown no interest in the child at all, outside of every other weekend and it is obvious his interest is purely about the money. We are very concerned about this, because my grand daughter is very attached to her.
  • what can I do if my child support agency is not splitting my payment up correctly and causing my interests to increase
  • If my spouse bought a home that is most likely going into foreclosure. I was not involved in any way for the purchase of this property nor am I on the title. I do however pay the mortgage on this property. If this goes to foreclosure, can the lender come after me for any reason?
  • The landlord recently handed out notices to everyone that they owe tax on their January rent and the rent tax has increased 2%. There was no notification of the increase and they are also taxing the tax amount stated in the lease. Example: My rent is $550 + $10tax, I now owe $1.10 for January and $1.10 every month there after. I know the amounts are low but in principal. Can they do this and try an evicition over it?
  • my wife asked me to leave the house 9 months ago. We now live in 2 different counties. She is very controlling of the time that i can spend with my daughter. So, I would like to go to court in order to let them set up some sort of visitation with my daughter for me, something more concrete than just my ex's wims and how she's feeling on the days I want to see my daughter. How do I go about filing for visitation rights. Please help- I am missing my daughter terribly and I know I should be able to see her. Thank You
