I was convicted of a misdemeanor domestic violence charge and have finished all of my sentencing and have had my charges set aside. What else must I do to restore my gun rights?

My case has been "vacated" but still shows up on background checks. Will hiring a lawyer to 'set aside' the felony still be needed...or not? I never received any information that I was even charged with the felony (disorderly conduct). AND - is it possible to have this removed from background checks? Will further expungement/setting aside help at all? thank you!

My ex wife has decided to quit her job, remove my daughter from school and live abroad for a year (and homeschool my daughter). While I do think this would be a great experience for my daughter, I do think a year is too long and I also struggle with the fact that her mother may meet someone there and never move back home. What legal action can I take PROACTIVELY (prior to her leaving the country) to make sure that it is a court order that she is only there for 6 months maximum and that she is required to send proof of homeschooling to me.

The director of the program witness and she made a 3rd party affidavit confirming that she waits when she shouldn't. She also says she hears the extremely inappropriate things my son says. She made a police report stating I was following her BUT she should of been 20 minutes away from the area . I got arrested beat the case and now I want legal actions done against her ? What would be my first step What kind of lawyer

My husband and I rented a very small 3 bed room house. Very basic but perfect for us. We’ve had some health issues so our adult grandson has been living with us for about a month. I contacted the owner. He’s raised our rent to 1100 a month. Homes for rent in this area are renting for 800.00 a month. This home was built in the early 70s and is very small under 1000 sq foot. Newer nicer homes are renting for 1100 a month. Much nicer and updated homes. We have never been late on rent and he has raised our rent every year but homes in this older but nice neighborhood are not near worth 1100 ???

My 10 year old's mother moved to NY. She did so without notice and has no intent of wanting him to move there. We currently have joint legal custody. How do I ensure that when he visits she will return him as agreed upon and that it doesn't look like I willingly sent him there for more than a visit? Also, can she sign to give me sole decision making and physical custody since she is not here to make major decisions regarding school, health, etc.?
