QUESTIONS

  • I recently divorced, and due to an error the request to restore my maiden name was not checked on the decree. I currently live out of state for graduate school, though I still hold an AZ driver's license and remain registered as a resident in Pima County. Since I am out of state, how do I now go about getting my name restored?
  • My ex recentley moved in with his girlfriend. He is refusing to give me his new address. I don't feel comfortable sending my kids for 5 weeks without knowing where they will be. Do I have to send them if he refuses to give me his address?

Landlord has changed rent price multiple times in ad and doesn't follow up with possible applicants. Plus repairs being done to place means I haven't lived at property all of June. Can I just move on and not worry about paying rent and get my deposit back? My lease is through Dec. 2016, but my landlord doesn't seem to be very quick on finding a new tenant or making sure repairs are done in a timely manner. Repairs are on the chiller system and bathroom as well.

  • I have had a serious leak in my garage from rain for just over 2 years. The landlord keeps having me tale time out of my day to meet with roofers that patch things but do not fix. when its not fixed he will hire a different roofer because they all tell him all the tile needs to be pulled up and redone. it is still not fixed and we are having mold issues. I have buckets to collect water in the 2 spots it leaked every time it rains. I have taken several hours off work for this and still nothing is correct. What can I do as a renter to get this fixed?
