  • We've been living with my boyfriends parents and we're paying rent every month. This month we paid rent, then 2 days later we were given the rent money back and told us we have 30 days to find somewhere else to go. Then 2 weeks later they decided to let us stay and are now asking for rent money again for this month. (and we are going into an apartment next month "July") Any advice on what to do would be great!

Can they do this? My life expectancy is short, about 5 years on average. My wife and I are on disability and they want a quarter of the premium to appeal their decisions. We are debt free don't want to acquire more debt to fight this. Can someone help?

  • I have 2 children that were born out of wedlock but paternity was established and I am their biological father. The mother of my children placed an order of protection on me but she recently dropped it. Prior to the order of protection we had a mutual custody agreement but it wasn't court ordered. Now that the order o protection is dropped she doesn't want to go back to our original agreement. She won't let me take my children without supervision or let them sleep over. With all this being said does she have the legal right to do this? What are my legal rights for visitation with my kids?
  • I am a stepparent. My husband's ex indicated that I can not sign permission slips for the kids to attend school field trips. I checked with the district and they said I could as long as my husband agreed. I always send a copy of the permission slip to his ex (she has never provided the same courtesy to my husband). I want to do what is right and legal. May I continue to sign permissions slips and pay for field trips or must my husband sign these slips?
