  • My lease ended on a Sunday. I contacted landlord on Monday to set up walk-through. I was told I needed to return the keys prior to scheduling a walk-though. I returned the keys on Tues. Now Landlord is charging me 2 days additional rent for not returning the keys. Is he allowed to do this?
  • We had flooding from recent storm. Walls got wet, carpet got wet, and light fixture not working. Landlord said let dry out and things will be fine. No repairs. Only cut open wall to worst leak and put a dryer in there. No one has come back. That 9/8/14. Today is 9/10/14. Should we give 5 or 10 day notice to fix? It now smells moldy in here, and I have to cook dinner in semi dark. Already frustrated because we have roaches! I have allergies and don't want to be exposed to them or to mold.
  • My husband has a 8 year old daughter ... and she lives with her mom but she dose not get the care she needs ... we have called cps to investigate the case.. but we have not gotten any more information on the case ... the social worker never picks up our calls or returns our messages.. we dont know what do his daughter wants to come live with us can my husband change her to a school near by with out legal paperwork and not get in trouble with law or where dose he need to go to try and get custody of his daughter we dont have the funds for a lawyer ... will he need a lawyer?
  • Is there a "lemon law" for refridgerators. We have a fridge less than 4 years old, the compressor went out and GE fixed it without charge. Then a month and a half later the freezer stopped working. It was repaired, then broke again one month later. Repair men have been out to the house multiple times and can't fix it. GE is stating that they will give us a discount on a new model but will not replace under the limited 5 year warranty. Do we have any legal rights in AZ? Thank you.
  • If the house smells like animal urine, wet dog, etc and the property mgmt says they will take care of it...but they said they would. What are my rights for backing out of the lease? I just signed it on Tuesday April 4th 2019
  • My ex and I have 50/50 custody. She frequently fails to pick up the children for her custody periods. Recently she dropped them off at school and told the school that I would be picking them up (again, her custody period). Obviously, I don’t mind having the children, but it is hard to manage impromptu scheduling changes in addition to the fact that I pay child support. What can I do?
  • I am currently in a Ch 13 bankruptcy. My home was in my bk plan. Currently my pre and post petition payments are current. However my mortgage servicer continues to place the payments made in a reserve account for several days before applying the monthly payment. My loan servicer also adds additional fees to my monthly statement such as property preserv fee? My home was in foreclosure but since it is current on pre and post petition payments, my servicer still has not canceled the trustee sale, they just continue to move the date forward. I filed pro se and everything else has been fine.
