Child Support
questions & answers
Question: When the child turns 18 does the child support stop or does the support continue until what age?
Answer:
Generally, child support ends on the minor's 18th birthday. One common exception is: if the child turns 18 and is still attending high school (or is attending a high school equivalency program), then the child support continues until the child graduates or turns 19 (whichever is sooner). (See, ARS § 25-501)
