Child Support
questions & answers
Question: If I work out of the state of AZ will AZ child support still garnish my checks?
Answer:
Yes wages will be garnished. An obligor (the person who owes child support) has the duty of informing the court of his/her address when it changes as well as any change of employment if there is a job change. The change of employer notice will be sent to the Clerk of the Court and Clearinghouse and the Clearinghouse or the Clerk of the Court will notify the employer of the garnishment by sending the court order to that employer.
